Watchers

It seems only natural for things to go from good to bad. I had been  unemployed for over three years, and was beginning to think that I would never work again. Time after time I had been passed over, I had been sending out Resume's to every possible position opening that could be found on craigslist. In truth I was at wits end, and my resources were drying up.
Then I got the call.  A company I had submitted a Resume to Last Year, called me in for an interview. I did not even remember submitting the original application. Well wouldn't you know,  just like that I'm employed again. I can pay my rent, utilities and go shopping without fear of insufficiant funds.  Things can also go from bad to good. Just have faith, keep on trying and pray as often as you can.  It worked for me. Now I can get my life back on track. (once I pay my taxes)  I am working on a newer, but limited computer.  I still don't have a photoshop, but I suspect things will continue to improve. Thank you all for your support throught the hard times.

I believe I have a boxed scanner available. Astra2200. You could have it for the price of the postage. It's a good scanner and has never been used. Write me if you are interested.

Goodness. You'd think finding a place with a scanner would be easy! I've checked ever local business around here and NONE of them have a scanner. Kind of ticks me off. I'm going to keep looking and get it to you as soon as possible.

At the beginnig of the month I asked for a job. You will never guess what happened, (after more then three years of unemployment) I got a job. Part time for the moment, but it enables me to pay my basics. Never give up hope.

Well, I got private access to a rebuilt computer. The down side is that there is no Photoshop program on it. Hows an artist suppose to deal with that? I also have yet to hook up my scanner to my new Dell. Things are better, but not yet as good as they were. I hate to say it, but I may have to have my old obsolete i-mac repaired at an exorbitant fee, so I can continue Photoshopping.

You are very welcome!
I read your blog/journal (I keep calling them blogs for some reason) and I like the idea of you doing a picture book. I would buy it. I think your art is amazing and if I had the money, or if my computer was currently working, I would ask if you would commission for me some art for my books.

I want to thank you so much for your vigilance KikoKun. I am honored that you chose to alert me to the posting of my work on another's site.
I do have mixed feelings about this. Of course it would have been preferable if the poster had contacted me first. Common sense and good will would have dictated that the poster at least try to get my permission. Having said that, there are actually a few reasons why I will tolerate it. First off, the poster is not taking credit for my work, that would be a grievous offense and I would have to take action. This is one reason that I put a signature water mark on all my art. I also tolerate the posting of my photographic works, because I can not post them myself. Several reasons for this, but I would say my antique equipment has something to do with it. There is another reason I prefer not to go into at the moment but I will tell you if you contact me by e-mail. Lastly, I want as many individuals to see my work as possible. "Ivor Presents" should provide the clue for any interested in my work, to find my websites.
Once more, I am proud to have such devoted followers as you.

Some random guy seems to be taking an uploading your art on here, with your name still on the artwork.
He isn't claiming he drew it or is you but it is a little strange he didn't even bother to look for you.
Anyhow he is.. [link]
